The U12 Nike team went all the way to the final in the Flugsa play off's. Having finished strong in the regular season the team came into the event full of confidence. Victories against Miami Premier and Cooper City in the quarter and semi finals saw them face Team Boca in the final.

 

The game was played in good spirit by both teams and was truly well contested. With the score 0-0 deep in the second half Team Boca suddenly found themselves 1-0 ahead and the Fury facing defeat. Throwing caution to the wind the Fury change goalkeeper and brought Kaitlyn Stolzenberg onto the field. The gamble paid off. With just seconds remaining Tyler Nicols struck a free kick to Stolzenberg who headed home the tying goal to take the game into golden goal extra time.

But it was not to be the Fury day and team Boca scored early into extra time to secure the win and the play off trophy.
