Pat’s experience of the beautiful game is extensive. He started his playing career with a full scholarship at Duke University, was an NSCAA All American, played in the APSL, ASL and the A league and had trials at Newcastle United in England .

Pat moved into coaching and worked in the men’s college game, as an assistant in the A league and served as part of Region III staff from 1995-97. Johnston  was waived directly to his USSF “B” License due to his playing experience and secured his USSF "A" license in the summer of 2007. Pat can be reached at pajthemanofsteel@bellsouth.net
