The WFSC U12 Premier Boys defeated strong rivals East Broward United with an overtime golden goal by midfielder Brian James to win Region A Division 1 Championship. The Fury had been close to scoring in a number of previous opportunities but EBU defended very well, James then found space and penetrated into the opponent’s area and placed the shot away from the goalie’s reach to secure the win.
The team aims to continue its strong showing having now won the regular season championship and is proud to be heading to
Florida
’s west coast to represent Region A with the goal of winning FYSA President’s Cup.
