Fury Win Against the Odds!
Playing as a visitor and with no substitutes, the Weston Fury Nike U14 Boys pulled a dramatic last minute 4-3 victory against the Miramar Strikers after Midfielder Allenn Montilla broke away and passed to forward Peter Roberts who finished for the winning goal. The Fury had initially gone ahead 3-0, but
Miramar later tied the game following the Fury’s ejections, in the second half. Andres Agualimpia had opened the score for the Fury and was involved in the second goal when his corner kick was hit in by a
Miramar defender. Peter Roberts made it 3-0 by shooting a bouncing ball after a free kick from Montilla.
U14 Weston’s Continues Streak!
The Weston Fury Nike U14 boys extended its winning record to 8 and 1 by defeating the SKS from
Kendall . The SKS tried to hold the Fury to a low score, but the Nike team persistent offense resulted in seven goals, 2 a piece by Jared Gutierrez and Peter Roberts, and one each by Marco Padilla, Allenn Montilla and Conner Doley. The Weston defense and goalie kept the net intact.
