All fees include: Y-League registration fee, referee fees, coaches salary, training and field costs.

Registration Steps

Super Y Selection & Registration Steps

Selections will be made thorughout the tryout process and players will be informed by the coach.

Selected players must register on line and paid in full within 10 days of accepting a roster spot. Payment can be made electronically with a Visa or MasterCard when registering on line. Check should be made payable to Weston Soccer Club.

Please follow the instructions below in order to expedite the registration process.

STEP ONE:

When registering for the tryout you should have completed a tryout registration, provided a copy of the player’s birth certificate, complete a medical release form and sign the WFSC 2008 Super Y League Expectations Agreement. If you did not you will need to bring these documents to your upcoming team meeting.

STEP TWO:

Every player must register online (click here to download the registration pack--the online registration guide can be found on page 4). If payment has been made on line please remember to print your receipt and bring with you to your team meeting as proof of payment. The purpose of on line registration is to provide the Club with your up-to-date information. You will then be in the communication link for email news bulletins and important information regarding the Club and its membership. If you have not already done so, please be sure to do this. Existing members still need to register for this program and should access their account via the web site.

STEP THREE:

Uniform Order—new players to the WFSC will be required to purchase a new Nike uniform. This cost is reflected in the new player registration fee and includes two jerseys, two pairs of shorts and two pairs of socks. These orders will be processed by through the WFSC by your team manager.

STEP FOUR:

Attend your specified team meeting. This will involve completing any outstanding paperwork and attending a team meeting with your coach and Team Manager.

Important documents to bring if you have not already done so;

Check or receipt to confirm online payment.

1. X1 passport sized photograph.

2. Copy of birth certificate or passport for new players

3. US Club Medical Release—this does not need to be notarized

4. Signed 2008 Player/Club Expectations Agreement

U13 SYL Boys Crowned National Champions

Weston U13 SYL 5 vs. 4 Slammers F.C. (CA)

Weston was set to achieve something the club has longed for, and come up short on three different occasions, and that is to win a National Championship. The Super Y League played in their favor as the U-13 Weston Premier 93/94 boys, after becoming State Champions at the USYSA level, set their mark on becoming Champions of the Super Y League.

After leading the Southeast conference posting an 11-2-1 mark, they were the No.1 Florida team to take part in the North American Super Y League National Championships. Weston’s 1st game was against Abbotsford Mariners from British Columbia, Canada. Weston’s high scoring threat was stymied by the opposition which did not allow a goal. Coach Alvin James was very disappointed in the lack of concentration with Weston’s forwards as four breakaways were either shot wide or high. "Not a single one put on target". Said James, "missing all those opportunities will come back to haunt you". They pressed on after missing another three equally easy goals. James added that "the team should have easily defeated Abbotsford 5/6 - 0......The final score was 0-0.
After consulting with his forwards it was apparent that they were simply not focused at the task at hand. James added, "Forget about the chances and prove yourselves to be otherwise in the next match."

Fury Place 4 Players on U13 Super Y All-League Team

The Super Y League have announced the All-League teams for the U13 boys who took part in the ninth annual Super Y-League North American Finals held in November in Tampa.

Selections were based off the nominations of opposing coaches made throughout tournament play. Selections per position were altered to include the players receiving the most nominations. All players selected to the list are automatically eligible to attend the Super Y-League ODP National Camps beginning Thursday, January 10 in Cocoa, Florida. The Fury who secured the national championship in this age group and had the honor of Brian James being named as MVP of the tournament had four players selected.
